Labor Day Camping Treats
Although summer might be coming to an end quickly, there is no reason to stop enjoying the nice weather during our last long weekend before fall hits. Since this weekend is filled with travel and usually one last fun vacation before we all go back to school and work, we are dedicating an entire week of posts to our favorite ways to celebrate summertime before it disappears! In honor of the adventurous family and friends who love spending time outside and getting some fresh air around the campfire we are bringing to you the perfect easy recipes to whip up around the fire!
These sweets treats are made with just 3 easy to pack ingredients and only take about five minutes to cook over an open flame. These make a fabulous camping breakfast, especially combined with some campfire scrambled eggs and orange juice. Seriously, yum! Doesn’t that sound amazing?!
I’m sure you’ve enjoyed Pillsbury Grands Orange Rolls at some point in your life, but how about baked over a campfire?! Somehow that makes them so much more appealing. Besides, what are you going to do all day other than cut up oranges into little baking bowls?
These are a great camping recipe because you can do most of the prep at home then throw it together at the campsite with minimal dishes. Very easy. If you aren’t camping, you could also make this in the oven at home (just pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees).
Another spinoff on everyone’s favorite campfire treat is this variation. Gooey marshmallow-filled campfire cones are a fun twist to a traditional S’more and can be customized with endless possibilities! So grab a box of ice cream cones and invite your family and friends over to create their own treats on the grill, campfire, or even in the oven.
Who said camping couldn’t be glamorous? This blueberry cobbler sure is changing that concept with this easy version using Pillsbury biscuits to make a fast, easy, grilled cobbler that your family will love.
